Family Storiesby TalkStory Forge

For the people you call family

Some stories
only you
can tell.

The kitchen everyone gathered in. The person who believed in you. The little things you hope someone remembers.

A gentle conversation can be a place to begin.

No speech to prepare. No perfect way to remember.Just room to tell your story.

A little time together

Less like an interview.
More like a conversation.

We’re shaping an experience that helps you settle in, follow a memory, and find the words at your own pace.

01

Make yourself comfortable

Find a quiet spot and choose a memory. A voice guide will help you begin, one simple question at a time.

02

Let the story unfold

Take your time. Follow a thought. Skip a question or take a break. The conversation should make room for you.

03

Make it your own

Read the story draft, fix a name or a detail, and decide what feels right before you share it.

You don’t have to start at the beginning

Start with what
comes back to you.

A place

The house with
the open door.

Where did you feel most at home?

A person

Someone who
changed your days.

Who would you like us to know about?

A small tradition

The things you
always did together.

What made an ordinary day feel special?

A lesson

Something you
still carry.

What do you hope someone learns from your story?

For you. For someone you love.

A voice worth hearing.
A story worth keeping.

You might be telling your own story, helping a parent feel comfortable, or making space for someone you love to be heard.

You don’t have to cover a whole lifetime. One memory is enough to begin.

Good stories go further.

Your story, with care

You stay part of the story.

Permission comes first

The planned service asks clearly before recording and explains how your words will be used.

A draft you can correct

AI can miss a name or misunderstand a detail. Your review belongs at the heart of the process.

Sharing is your choice

We’re building toward a story you approve before publication or sharing, never automatic publication.

Before we sit down

A few things you may wonder.

Do I have to be good with technology?

We’re designing for a simple start, clear text, and a few large controls. The first tests focus on whether the experience feels comfortable, especially for older storytellers.

Will I be speaking with a person?

The guide uses an AI-generated voice. It asks questions and helps shape a draft from your words. You remain the person who checks and approves the story.

What if I forget a date or need a break?

That’s okay. You can say you’re unsure, skip a topic, or pause. Exact details can be checked during review.

Can I try it or book an interview today?

Public interviews are not open yet. We’re first testing the conversation and story review privately, without requiring payment or interview credits. Pricing remains TBD.

Born in Hawaiʻi. Built for humanity.

Your story is worth the time.
